Credit Card Acquiring and Security

Credit card transactions will be acquired for SMART by Iveri who are the approved payment gateway in South Africa. Iveri use SSL and no credit card details are stored on SMART website. Users may go to www.iveri.com to view their security certificate and security policy. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Iveri Internet servers are protected by level fraud monitoring system.

Customer Details separate from Card Details

Customer details will be stored by SMART separately from card details which are entered by the client on Iveri secure site. For more detail on Iveri, refer to www.iveri.co.za.

Delivery Policy

A buyer may visit www.smartaccountingsoftware.com and opt to download a demonstration version of the software. This process is free and does not require the anonymous visitor to give a credit card number or any personal information for the demonstration version. If the visitor decides that they would like to buy a copy of the software at www.smartaccountingsoftware.com, they would visit the site and click the ‘Buy Online’ button.

The buyer is then prompted with one option. The buyer can purchase the software instantly with a credit card.

The buyer will enter a credit card number to make their purchase. When the user selects this option they will be taken to a screen that prompts them for credit card purchasing information.

After the form is filled out, the user submits their order. Within a matter of seconds a response page will be displayed. This page will tell the buyer whether the transaction was approved or declined. If the charge was declined, the buyer does not receive any email and the transaction ends. If they like, they can click back in the browser and enter a different card number. If the transaction was approved, the buyer will receive a receipt via email from the card processor. This receipt contains the amount that was charged to the card; SMART contact information; support contact information and other details about the transaction.

After the transaction has been verified, the visitor will receive a registration key to enter into the software, together with their e-mail address, to get the full features.

The registration key is a direct connection from the SMART website.

Please note that once the software has been purchased it can not be returned or refunded.
