My first encounter at working with Gaap was twelve years ago. I was employed as a junior bookkeeper, At the time my knowledge of Bookkeeping was minimal. I was merely a student then, with only the knowledge, work experience and qualification of a course in Basic Computer Skills, Marketing and Secretarial. It did not take me long to understand, not just the operation of the software, but the bookkeeping function itself. I learned Invoicing, Creditors, Debtors and processing of the cash book in the General Ledger. This was all fully integrated. With the correct data input, Management could, with merely the pressing of a few keys, obtain their full set of Financial Statements. This is with such ease, it’s amazing. I now have something more to look forward to. The all new “Smart” Accounting Software, an upgrade version of Gaap. There’s so much more “Smart” has to offer, so many enhancements, you will be surprised.
